In promoting my writing, I've created free items to give away at bookstores and book fairs. Then it occurred to me that people who already read my stories may be interested in receiving some of these items, as well.
If you would like to receive these items, just e-mail me.
Please note that the images are samples only, and the actual items are full size and not pixelated or hard to read in the least. The promo items I currently have available are:
- Pens -- ball-point cap pens with my name & URL on them.
- Buttons -- 1½" pins with my URL on them.
- Bookmarks -- printed on heavy coated cardstock, color on one side. I have jmsnyder.net bookmarks (two designs), and Rainbow Review bookmarks.
These are all the rage now -- think movie trailers for books. They're a quick glance at the tone of the story, with just enough information to interest you in finding out more. My trailers are posted on YouTube ... click the image to open the video in a new window.

In conjunction with the fabulous candle artist at Studio 3B, I'm pleased to offer a special candle reminiscent of my website and inspired by my writing.
For those "in the know," you'll recognize the name of the candle as that of my now defunct slash fan-fic website. In my writing, I try to capture an undying love that transcends time and gender -- I don't simply write m/m or gay erotica because it's "in." I write about loving relationships between men that promise forever.
The 3" x 4" pillar candle's colors are a swirl of blue, green, and white to mimic the theme of this website, and the candle's scent (Rain) is clean and crisp, a fresh blend of rose and lily of the valley with an undernote of musk.
You can buy direct from Studio 3B for $15. Click here to purchase one or see what other great handmade candles they sell!
Book Plates
Another option for those unwilling to mail the actual book to me would be to request an inscribed bookplate. These are 2" x 3" stickers with my website logo on them, which can be adhered to the front of any of my books. The stickers are small, so I can only write "TO:" and your name, add my signature, and date it at the most.
If you would like one or more bookplates, e-mail me with the name you want it made out to and where to mail it. If you only have my e-books, perhaps you could burn them to a single CD for safe keeping, and put the bookplate on the CD cover? Just a thought!
